Living aboard

(0)I have been living aboard for about three weeks now and getting a few chores done in the evening. Last night I mounted the GPS antenna and fed the cable through a fitting aft and into the lazarette. Now I have to cut a 1.5″ hole and epoxy that shut so I can drill a 1″ hole for the through hull from the lazarette into the cockpit. This will be the new way I get cables from inside the boat into the cockpit. I have been putting off the drilling of the hole as I do not like to do epoxy & fiberglass work.
Tonight I am on the east side of the state to attend a conference. Thunderstorms are rolling through and I worry about the security of Inspiration. I have a slip mate this year and we are cross tying since there is no center posts to tie to. I did not have time to work out all the details and did not add the extra spring line to keep the stbd stern from rubbing the fenders.
Time for the sack.
